In game, press backslash or tilde and a green and black menu will appear on screen. A bunch of stuff should appear on the screen. It should already be routed to the proper file and you should just be able to select patch.txt. ![]() Go to file open in BLCMM, and open the patch.txt file we placed in step 2. Hover your cursor over the question mark and type what it asks you to.ħ. Now on the BLCMM screen, you get a "hey there" message. Open BLCMM and have it find your BL2 file, select the first 2 options, and press "apply".Ħ. ![]() Now control+S and to save the changes and X out of the file.ĥ. Go to Documents\My games\Borderlands 2\WillowGame\Config and open WillowInput.ini control+F "ConsoleKey" (no quotations) and you will find it in the text file and below it you will see TypeKey. So within the Binaries folder, you will have the folder redist, folder win32, and patch.txtģ. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Borderlands 2\Binaries and drop the patch.txt there (this file is inside the ucp folder). Go to nexus and download the patch folder. Perhaps try this, or re-hex-edit the file.Ġ. Personally I have always used this method using only BLCMM and it has worked. ![]() Sadly I'm not sure how to advise since everyone does it differently. Basically your command line is working, but its not actually taking the command. This would imply you have not hex edited the file correctly.
